Previous Rental issue was not as bad as I thought it would be, and as a retired person who doesn't drive long distances, I wasn't overly concerned about it. I have owned three previous Toyotas and have always found them to be reliable which was the biggest factor in my decision to purchase this vehicle. The back-up camera is a nice feature (necessity?) since the view out the back window is limited due, in part, to wide pillars. The lane departure warning can be a bit annoying since it appears to react to conditions other than roadway edge lines. For example, the sensor appears to react to the shadows cast on the roadway from telephone wires. One great feature of this car involves the cruise control. If the car is approaching a slower vehicle the car will automatically start to gently slow down. Overall, this is not a car that is especially fun to drive but will reliable get you to where you're going.
